ieStarGate - Privacy Policy

ieStarGate respects the privacy of its users and the security of data collected from the use of the ieStarGate Software Product software and the ieStarGate.com website.

Information Collected

When you use certain features of the ieStarGate website or purchase a copy of the ieStarGate Software Product, you provide your name, company name (if applicable), address, email address, telephone number and credit card information. This information is collected for several reasons, including: (i) responding to your requests; (ii) processing your order(s); (iii) providing you with notifications regarding your software; and (iv) providing you with other material information. You may also download a trial copy of the ieStarGate software, for which you are not required to provide any of the foregoing information.

We also collect and store information that does not personally identify you (“non-personally identifiable information”), which we use in aggregate for purposes such as: (i) improving our services; (ii) diagnosing problems with our server; (iii) system administration; (iv) identifying demographic trends; (v) assessing overall user compatibility with our services; (vi) marketing/advertising our services. Non-personally identifiable information that we collect includes: (i) IP addresses; (ii) referrers (the information sent by your web browser that references the web URL you linked from); (iii) environmental variables (e.g., time of day, type of web browser you are using, type of operating system you are using, speed of your computer); (iv) aggregate operating metrics (e.g., average time users spend on website pages, which pages are visited most frequently, how many users are active at the same time).

We do not place any information, such as “Cookies” on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are small text files placed on a computer’s hard drive. They are used by some websites to identify you and store other information such as personal website usage.

Surveys

From time to time you may participate, solely at your own discretion, in a user survey sponsored by ieStarGate. The information you provide in a survey is aggregated with other responses and used to make improvements to our software and services. Survey participants are anonymous unless otherwise stated in the survey.

Information Sharing

We do not share, sell or otherwise make available any information that personally identifies you to or with any third party.

We may hire a third party to act on our behalf for projects such as market research surveys or marketing/promotional campaigns and will provide aggregate information to these third parties specifically for use in connection with these projects. The information we provide to such third parties is protected by a confidentiality agreement and is to be used solely for completing the specific project. THE IESTARGATE.COM WEBSITE CONTAINS LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES. THIRD PARTY WEBSITES THAT YOU ACCESS VIA THESE LINKS OR BY USING THE IESTARGATE SOFTWARE PRODUCT ARE NOT COVERED BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IESTARGATE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR AND DOES NOT CONTROL ANY CONTENT OR PRACTICES OF ANY THIRD PARTY WEBSITE. AMONG OTHER PRACTICES, THIRD PARTY WEBSITES MAY PLACE COOKIES ON YOUR COMPUTER’S HARD DRIVE. IESTARGATE URGES YOU TO REVIEW THIRD PARTY PRIVACY POLICIES, ESPECIALLY BEFORE DISCLOSING ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THOSE SITES, AS THEIR POLICIES MAY BE MATERIALLY DIFFERENT FROM THIS PRIVACY POLICY. Policy Modification

Any change to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the ieStarGate.com website. You are responsible for reviewing the policy frequently. Your continued use of the ieStarGate.com website and/or the ieStarGate Software Product after the posting of any changes to this policy constitutes your agreement to those changes.
